Press statement psas successful walk for freedom

The Media Review Network would like to congratulate the Palestine Solidarity Alliance (PSA) for successfully hosting their inaugural “Walk for Freedom” in support of Palestine, which took place in Lenasia on Sunday, 26th September 2010.

The objective of the walk was to create global awareness of the occupation and oppression of the weak and vulnerable by the super powers with neo-colonialist and expansionist agendas.

This walk for freedom certainly achieved that objective.

Among the participants of the walk were former Minister of Intelligence Ronnie Kasrils and Bashiel Khalid, the son of world renowned activist, Laila Khalid.

The participants, organisers and volunteers must be highly commended for participating and hosting such a successful event.

We look foreword to a bigger and better annual “Walk for Freedom.”
