Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ruling states: Israel can be called an Apartheid State

Wednesday, 6 July 2011

The Muslim Judicial Council and the Media Review Network hails the ruling by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) as a victory for the truth and a strong stance against the bullish manipulation of the media by the Zionist Lobby. The ruling laid to rest the Zionist Lobby’s tactic of Israeli protectionism which accuses any criticism against Israel as anti-semiticism or hate speech.

The ad calling for the boycott of Israeli actions against the Palestinian people made a comparison of the boycott against SA Apartheid oppression and urged people to be “on the right side of history”. This ruling is significant as it represents the sensitivity and empathy of South Africans for all people who are victims of brutality, oppression and crippling sanctions irrespective of their race, religion, colour or creed.

The message therefore to the Zionist Lobby is that Israel with its Zionist supporters are not above the law and that overwhelming evidence of Israeli crimes presented by numerous dossiers through credible research and eye witnesses cannot silence the truth that Israeli actions is that of an Apartheid state.
