Three alleged vigilantes were arrested in Durban today after three people were stoned to death and their bodies dumped in an informal settlement.

Captain Khephu Ndlovu says the trio, arrested in Umlazi last night, would face charges of kidnapping and murder.

The three bodies were found in the Q Section settlement last weekend.

All three had been assaulted and stoned to death. Police say more arrests were imminent. The three, aged between 29 and 48, were expected to appear in court on Friday.
