Turkish President Abdullah Gul held a series of talks with Saudi, Egyptian and Iraqi officials in Istanbul on Thursday.

Gul had separate meetings with Saudi Arabian Minister of Commerce & Industry Abdallah bin Ahmad Zainal Ali Reza and Egyptian Minister of Foreign Trade & Industry Rachid Mohamed Rachid, who attended the 24th meeting of the Standing Committee for Economic & Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) of the Organization of the Islamic Conference held in Istanbul.

Gul also received Ammar al-Hakim, the deputy chairman of Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council.
