Islamophobia is a growing threat worldwide, often engineered by systemic forces to malign and marginalise Muslims to further nefarious imperialist agendas.
Founding in 1995, the Media Review Network has been fighting these systemic forces for almost thirty years in order to end the incremental genocide of Muslims in many countries.
From 14 – 16 July, MRN Executive Member Dr. Ahmed Haroon Jazbhay will be participating in the Global Islamophobia Studies conference in Istanbul, Turkey. There, he will present a paper titled: ISIS Bogeyman in South Africa: An Extension of Global Islamophobia.
The paper will dissect the state of Islamophobia in South Africa by arguing that it presently also intersects with xenophobia thereby creating a cesspool of hate against Muslims.
