News that the Sudan’s Sovereignty Council President General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan has frozen the activity of trade unions, professional federations, and the Sudanese Businessmen and Employers Federation, including controlling their financial assets and accounts, is deeply worrying. These entities should have their rights restored immediately as they represent the majority Sudanese only remaining voice.

Why is General Burhan behaving so arrogantly like this in the first place? To begin with, he is not an elected leader of Sudan. In actual fact, he is an illegitimate leader who forced himself on the people of Sudan. He is currently being sustained by his Zionist/Apartheid masters in Israel who continuously instigate chaos in the country and make sure that democracy never see the light of the day in Sudan.

What has the people of Sudan done to deserve such kind of leadership? We know that their crime is none other than refusing the so-called ‘normalization Agenda’ imposed by the USA and Zionist Israel. The general public in Sudan scorn the so called Abrahamic Accords that are currently being forced on the Muslim/Arab countries. General Burhan knows too well that his stay in power is dependent on the success of the normalization with Apartheid/Zionist Israel.

As a result of this scenario which many ordinary Sudanese are not aware of by the way, the people of Sudan are meant to pay for their denial of the so called normalization project in the form of the suspension of their march towards the realization of their democratic dream. General Burhan has never been on the side of the people. If we may recall what happened during the early days of the coup in Sudan, rumors abound that 2 weeks before the actual coup, Israeli intelligence met with General Burhan and other top army generals of the Sudanese military. What were they discussing? Why the coincidence with the coup happening immediately after they left?

It can therefore be argued that General Burhan and his ruling military junta are definitely an Apartheid/Zionist Israeli project which has gone wrong and is currently embarrassing the Biden administration big time. In the past, we have always argued that when one looks at all countries especially on the African continent who have relations with Apartheid/Zionist Israel, they seem to be engulfed in some form of instabilities. This is the curse of Zionism given the fact that the ideology itself is built on a foundation of segregation and racism.

To the people of Sudan, our call is that continue to resist these machinations that seek to divide your people breeding chaos and violence in order to deny the peoples march towards democracy. That is why the junta has seen it fit to suspend the many civil organizations that are in the forefront fighting for their people. We call upon the all progressive African countries to condemn this action by the Sudanese army.

The African Peace and Security Council (APSC) of the African Union (AU) should deliberate on this issue and suspend and sanction this so-called illegitimate Sudan’s Sovereignty Council. We wonder how sovereign is this council? Sovereignty should be derived from the people not an army, an army is there to protect the citizens and consolidate that sovereignness and not to lord over them. Aluta Continua!
