Masar Badil: The actions of the PA are part and parcel of a Zionist campaign against the Palestinian people

Comrade Khaled Barakat, a member of the Executive Committee of the Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, said, “The vicious attack against the funeral of the martyr Abdel-Fattah Kharousheh comes within the framework of the ‘Palestinian Authority’’s role as a security tool that works in the service of U.S. imperialism and the Zionist project, implementing the demands of these hostile forces.” He emphasized that “our people cannot forgive or be lenient with any party that violates their dignity or undermines the sanctity of the blood of the martyrs.”

The brutal repression of Palestinian masses during the funeral of the martyr Kharousheh in Nablus is “a vicious attack not only on the dignity of our Palestinian people and our Arab nation, from the ocean to the Gulf, but also a disregard for fundamental human dignity,” he said, noting that “the practices of repression express the reality that the Authority is reeling and in fear of losing its grip on power.”

“The practices of the PA against our people are part and parcel of a hostile U.S.-Zionist campaign that aims to distort the image of the Palestinian liberation struggle and its legitimate goals. The PA acts as the agent of the colonizer, reproducing its practices in order to gain recognition and acceptance from the enemy camp. We have seen this before in Algeria, Ireland, South Africa, India and elsewhere, where local authorities were set up by the colonizer serve colonial interests and implement its policies against their people.”

He emphasize that the Israeli regime “seeks to transfer the conflict to the Palestinian internal front. There are Palestinian and Arab forces that, unfortunately, facilitate this nefarious task for the colonizer by adopting, on the one hand, a policy of submission to U.S. conditions, and on the other hand, a practice of repression, torture, violation of our people’s rights and insults to the dignity of the Palestinian people.”
