The Media Review Network is aware of the cynical ploy by the United States of America to dupe some Muslims to break the Ramadaan fast at their Pretoria embassy.
Committed Muslims should reject this feeble attempt for credibility by the enablers of genocide that have visited death and destruction in Gaza, killing and maiming 120,000 Palestinians, 75% of whom are women and children.
The Holy Quran asks (4:139):
“As for those who take the deniers of the truth for their allies in preference to the believers – do they hope to be honoured by them when, behold, all honour belongs to God [alone]?”
Committed Muslims are well aware of the nefarious role played by the Americans in the on-going Gaza genocide committed by apartheid Zionist Israel against the Palestinians.
It is with American backing that Israel is able to continue with impunity in its egregious crime against humanity. They have vetoed three resolutions calling for a ceasefire at the United Nations Security Council allowing the massacre of Palestinians to continue unabated.
The Americans and Western nations, and for that matter the Arab regimes particularly Egypt, Jordan, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia have allowed the supply and transfer of tons of munitions to Israel. The diplomatic cover and financial aid clearly demonstrates American, Arab and Western complicity in the genocide.
No Muslim can, with a clear conscience, betray the Palestinian cause by attending an ifthaar with the Americans whose hands are dripping with Palestinian blood.
This goes against the very essence of Ramadan and makes every attendee complicit in the genocide of Palestinians and atrocities against all other Muslims the world over.
