EID-UL-FITR MESSAGE-1445 (A.H) (2024)

As we approach the end of this momentous month of the Islamic calendar, we remind ourselves that we were engaged in the remembrance of our Creator and at the same time we were involved in spiritual introspection, correction and developing Allah Consciousness. May this become our norm.

We also remind ourselves that this day should mark not only a day of festivity among families and friends, but should also be a sombre reminder that we need to remain steadfast in solidarity with the oppressed and support for all who are suffering under the yoke of oppression the world over, especially our besieged brethren and Mujahideen in Gaza. Despite immense and unfathomable death, destruction, and misery, the Resistance in Gaza remains stronger than ever, a testament to the immense Imaan of the Mujahideen and the people of Gaza. With Allah’s help, victory is certain, and the temporary suffering will be a distant memory.

As we eat and enjoy the festivities and sumptuous meals, let us open our hearts and pockets to our Palestinian breatheren to play our part in lessening their suffering.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever”.

This Eid will not be the same. Our hearts, our minds, and our thoughts are with the heroes of Gaza.

Let’s celebrate #EidWithGaza by wearing our kuffiyeh to show our solidarity worldwide!

This year’s (2024/1445) Eid-ul-Fitr, should also be remembered by focusing on the sufferings of our brothers and sisters in the world who live under oppressive and unjust ‘Muslim’ rulers, particularly in Arab world under unelected evil despotic regimes.

In addition to the usual evil Western governments like the USA, UK, and Zionist Israel, we must include India. The problems in Jammu and Kashmir continue unabated. The Fascist Indian government continues to subject the people of Jammu and Kashmir under slave like conditions. Murders, detentions, extra-judiciary killings, rapes, torture, and maiming of children have become the order of the day. The silence of the West, Zionists and Arab countries points to their complicity and approval of the actions of the Indian military.

The Media Review Network wishes Muslims throughout the world, Eid-ul-Fitr Mubarak and we pray that the Most Merciful Creator, Allah (SWT) pour out the blessing of this day upon all Muslims, especially on those suffering injustices and oppression throughout the world.
