The Media Review Network sends out its heartfelt condolences to the people and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the tragic death of President Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian, and their entourage in a helicopter incident yesterday.
The leadership and people of Iran, since the Islamic Revolution of 1979, have remained steadfast in challenging the forces of global coloniality in pursuit of a just and equitable world order.
Both President Raisi and FM Amir-Abdollahian have been firm on the guiding principles of the 1979 Islamic Revolution that toppled the American and Zionist-supported dictator, The Shah.
These principles have ensured that the Iranian government and people have been resolute in support of the oppressed people around the world, in particular, the Palestinian people and the Resistance against Zionist settler colonialism.
The sadness and pain of the Iranian people, therefore, is our sadness and pain.
We at MRN are confident that the Iranian nation will be able to withstand this tragic blow and emerge stronger to confront both its internal and external challenges. Iran has strong institutions capable of this.
