When Israeli occupying forces used at least three U.S.-provided GBU-39 small diameter bombs (smd), to massacre those Palestinians who were seeking refuge in a school-turned-shelter called Al Tabin. They killed 100 humans as they were conducting morning prayers on Saturday 10 August 2024.

Before November/ when the new invasive species will come about

We witness
It’s almost a year
When these petals began to fall
As passersby trample/ gently/ evasively

From the rubble defiant petals
sprout into flowers and strong barked trees
Watered by the wretched and forlorn
From near and far
