DA, PA fact finders overlooked documented apartheid Israel’s history

THE “fact finding” mission (by the DA and Patriotic Alliance members) to Israel is really something.

Seeing that they present as Christians and politicians in power, they should now see to it that academic literature, to the contrary of their fantastic opinions about Israel, be moved to the fiction section at universities and other academic institutions.

They can start at Stellenbosch university library, and order the administrative office of the library to immediately move books like Andy Clarno’s book, Neoliberal Apartheid in Palestine/South Africa, published by the University of Chicago Press, to the fiction section.

Ditto Ben White’s Israeli Apartheid: A Beginner’s Guide.

The group should really put their resources where their mouths are, and establish a journal for myths and fantasies, where all the scholarly articles in academic journals on Israeli apartheid can be moved to. No half-measures will do.

Including the academic articles by authors such as Ilan Pappe, Norman Finkelstein and Pulitzer Prize winner Chris Hedges.

It doesn’t stop there. This group should develop a special AI program, by which to alter the utterance of Verwoerd that Israel is an apartheid state, back in 1961.

Verwoerd’s exact words were: “Israel is not consistent in its new anti-apartheid attitude.

They took Israel away from the Arabs after the Arabs lived there for a thousand years. In that, I agree with them. Israel, like South Africa, is an apartheid state.” Straight from the horse’s mouth.

Then, the Fact Finders should turn to organisations like Amnesty International for their publications on the unfair treatment against Palestinians. Especially about massacres, you know.

This Fact Finding Mission should write to the parents of Rachel Corrie, telling them that the Israelis didn’t want to destroy Palestinian homes for the sake of Israelis. Their daughter was mistaken – after all, the notion of the Fact Finders is that there is no evidence of apartheid.

This Fact Finding mission should contact YouTube about videos such

as the one titled “You are stealing my house”, showing a Jew from Brooklyn claiming if he didn’t steal the Palestinian home, someone else would. Ditto all the other takeovers of Palestinian homes. It should be classified as comedy, isn’t it?

The 2018 March of Return Massacre, and all the massacres since 1948, should get the attention of the Fact Finders. They should ensure that all literature on the topic be classified as fiction too.

After all, according to the Fact Finders, it stárted on 7 October 2023! Dr Mads Gilbert, the anaesthetist from

Norway who has been involved since 1982, must have been mistaken about the siege on Gaza! Please, Fact Finders, write him a scathing letter! You’re right and he must have been wrong for decades!

Good reason to also re-classify Ilan Pappe’s book, The Biggest Prison On Earth together with Little Red Riding Hood. Would be fitting, because the cover shows a little girl in a pink dress navigating the stairs with heavily armed Israeli soldiers on either side. Almost like the girl in the folk tale, and the wolf!

Then, the Fact Finders should contact the administrators of the Walkley book Award in Australia, who awarded the 2023 prize to Anthony Loewenstein, for his work, The Palestine Laboratory, on how Israel tests weapons on Palestinians. If there’s no apartheid, it doesn’t happen, right?

The Fact Finders should publish letters to each of the 47 countries who testified against Israel at the ICJ in February 2024, for raising the issue of illegal occupation and apartheid. The Fact Finders should make it clear that they know better.

Lastly, the fact finders should find someone amongst them to produce a PhD in which they prove that all the literature that states that Israeli apartheid exists, is untrue. A fully fledged PhD, to be defended in public.

And, while they are at it, the Fact Finders should also set out to disprove all the claims in the PhD at Oxford University, by Bruce Hoffman: Jewish Terrorism And The British In Palestine 1939-1947. One needs to know who started terrorism.

The Fact Finders are supposed to be trustworthy. Let’s see if they can disprove the literature.
