The False Promise of “Peace” Without Justice
Board of Peace – A Qur’anic Warning
Opening Qur’anic Reminder
Allah ﷻ says:
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالُوا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ
“When it is said to them, ‘Do not spread corruption on the earth,’ they reply, ‘We are only peacemakers.’”
(Surah al-Baqarah 2:11)
Allah then exposes the lie:
أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَٰكِن لَّا يَشْعُرُونَ
“Indeed, they are the corrupters, but they do not perceive it.”
(2:12)
These ayat are not merely historical. They describe a recurring pattern in human history:
Those who spread violence often cloak themselves in the language of peace.
The “Board of Peace”: A Deception Unveiled Recently, the world witnessed a grand ceremony in Davos, Switzerland.
With Hollywood-style extravagance, US President Donald J. Trump announced the ratification of a so-called “Board of Peace,” declaring it an international body.
It was supposedly about Gaza.
It was supposedly about Palestine.
Yet Gaza was not mentioned once.
The genocide was erased.
The victims were invisible.
What is being sold as a Board of Peace is, in reality, a machinery to manage the aftermath of mass violence — not to end it.
Nearly ten Muslim countries joined this charade, which analysts describe not as diplomacy, but as complicity — an administrative role in legitimising imperial domination.
Pakistani academic Professor Junaid Ahmad exposed the truth:
Genocide is reorganised into governance.
Resistance is reframed as a security threat.
And “peace” becomes a euphemism for control.
The Myth of the “Rules-Based Order”
The West claims moral superiority — democracy, law, civilisation — as opposed to the so-called “uncivilised” brown and black world, including Muslims.
But Gaza exposed the lie.
Where was this rules-based order when:
- Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia were carpet-bombed?
- Democratically elected governments were overthrown in Iran, Egypt, Palestine, Pakistan, and Chile?
- Iraq and Libya were invaded based on lies?
- Afghanistan, Nigeria, and Yemen were bombed?
- Sanctions were used to starve millions?
Gaza did not reveal the failure of the system.
It revealed the system itself.
The Board of Peace: Empire Rebranded
This is not a Board of Peace.
It is:
- A racist Board of Plunder
- A colonial Board of Occupation
- An imperial Board of Criminals
— operating under humanitarian language.
It is led by a 79-year-old Donald Trump, declaring himself chairman for life, appointing war criminals and dictators, and offering permanent membership for one billion dollars.
France, Germany, and Britain declined — for now.
Canada was disinvited.
Netanyahu agreed — but did not attend, fearing arrest under the ICC warrant.
This is governance by money, immunity, and power — not justice.
A Historical Pattern of Genocide
Let us be clear:
There is a long tradition of genocide within Western imperial history.
- Australia massacred the Aborigines
- New Zealand crushed the Māoris
- Britain starved Bengal
- France butchered Algeria
- Germany annihilated Namibia
- Italy ravaged Libya
- Belgium murdered over 10 million in the Congo
- The Dutch slaughtered Indonesia
- Portugal devastated Angola
- Spain annihilated South America and the Philippines
Even here in South Africa, during the Second Boer War, Britain pioneered modern concentration camps, killing over 26,000 women and children.
This mindset has a name:
Terra Nullius — “land without people.”
It is the same Zionist lie:
“A land for a people without a land.”
That lie is always the first step to genocide.
Gaza Is Not an Aberration
The genocide in Gaza flows from the same ideology.
This is not chaos.
It is design.
The Board of Peace will not stop the killing because it refuses to address the root cause:
- Theft of Palestinian land
- Ethnic cleansing
- 78 years of dispossession, apartheid, and siege
Peace without justice is not peace.
It is pacification.
From Law to Post-Law Order
What we are witnessing is the arrival of a post-law world.
International law is bypassed.
Justice is selective.
Peace is administered by invitation and wealth.
In this architecture, Trump presents himself like Pharaoh, surrounded by his Hamans and Qaruns, deceiving the masses with spectacle.
History is clear:
When peace is severed from justice, empire — not peace — arrives.
What Must We Do?
Allah ﷻ says:
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ
“Indeed, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is within themselves.”
(13:11)
Change begins with consciousness.
Benjamin Netanyahu himself admitted:
“Social media is the new battlefield.”
That admission matters.
Power fears exposure.
Digital Resistance: The New Mimbar
What is missing from headlines is not violence — it is context.
Algorithms decide what is seen.
Silence is engineered.
Attention is weaponised.
Every like, share, and comment is a signal.
- Likes create relevance
- Shares create credibility
- Comments expand reach
A silent post dies.
An engaged post travels.
This is not vanity.
This is circulation.
This is digital resistance.
Narrative Warfare & Our Responsibility
Western power no longer relies only on bombs.
It relies on narrative dominance.
This is why initiatives like UpScrolled, founded by Palestinian technologist Issam Hijazi, matter — exposing how truth is buried while lies are amplified.
This is why the Media Review Network exists.
Digital space is the modern mimbar.
This struggle cannot be outsourced.
As the African proverb says:
“Until the lions have their historians, the story of the hunt will always glorify the hunter.”
Resistance and Tawakkul
Allah ﷻ describes the believers:
الَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَانًا
“Those who were told, ‘Your enemies have gathered against you, so fear them,’ but it only increased them in faith.”
وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيل
“They said: Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.”
(3:173)
Closing
Brothers and sisters,
Gaza did not expose weakness.
It exposed truth.
Peace without justice is oppression.
Silence is complicity.
And awareness is resistance.
May Allah give us basirah, courage, and steadfastness.
Allahumma arina al-haqqa haqqan warzuqna ittiba‘ah.
Allahumma arina al-batila batilan warzuqna ijtinabah.
Āmīn.
