Michael Weiss is a typical Zionist propagandist who wants

the entire world to swallow Israeli lies and disinformation in their entirety.

I read with utter contempt the article by Israeli apologist Michael Weiss in which he asked, “Why is Amnesty hosting a Hamas-friendly publisher of racists?”.

It deserves a response, not because Weiss and other propagandists for the Zionist state of Israel are right; as far as I and millions like me are concerned, they aren’t, and never will be. They inhabit a murky “hasbara” world, a fact which is being acknowledged and condemned not only by Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims but also by millions of conscientious people around the globe, including many Jews. Increasingly, the creation of the state of Israel is being seen for what it was and remains; the rape of a land and people to create a racist entity devoid of any moral legitimacy.

Weiss named me in his article, so I think I have the right to respond, lest readers fall victim to furthe Zionist mendacity and malicious distortion of the facts.

From its inception, Zionism and its followers viewed Palestine as “a land without a people for a people without a land”. This denial of my people’s very existence didn’t arise out of ignorance. It was an expression of virulent and violent racism, originating among those European barbarians who exterminated untold millions of indigenous Native Americans and called the genocide “Manifest Destiny”.

Sa al qaeda link misleading

  • by

(source: Voice of the Cape Online)

The Medie Review Network has summarily dismissed a news headline in New Age stating that “SA’s al-Qaeda links revealed” which appeared on Tuesday, saying that this was not only misleading, but entirely speculative. According to MRN chairperson, Iqbal Jassat, the article quoting faceless South African and American intelligence sources, “making utterly outrageous and unsubstantiated allegations”.

Among the statements made was the claim that SA was being used as a springboard to infiltrate al-Qaeda-linked operatives into Europe, the UK and the US. It goes on to claim that the infiltration is run by a network of Pakistani citizens who bring in illegal aliens by air via OR Tambo airport or overland through Mozambique, Swaziland and Lesotho.

“The report is mischievous, misleading and malicious for the rest of its content deals with a deliberate attempt to conflate criminal conduct with a movement widely viewed as an ‘Islamic terror group’. Money laundering and forgery of documents along with human trafficking is criminal,” Jassat stated.

The Killing Of Osama Bin Laden

The Media Review Network, in noting the announcement by American President Barack Obama that the US military killed Osama bin Laden in Pakistan, remains concerned about the legality of the US-led “war on terror”.

We believe that the launch of this war by neocon racists in league with Israel spawned in the wake of the 9/11 atrocity provided America the means to conduct illegitimate military invasions in Afghanistan and Iraq. Hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians, men, women and children, have been murdered by the Western coalition.

The “war on terror” unleashed abominable human rights violation, notably torture, rendition and detention without trial – all in pursuit of bin Laden, al Qaeda, the Taliban and Saddam Hussein, blamed for the New York outrage of 9/11.

With the news of bin Laden’s assassination in an upmarket suburb of Pakistan, close to its capital city, where he is reported to have lived for the last five years, we are compelled to raise a number of pertinent questions:

a) Given the close cooperation between the US and Pakistani intelligence/military, how was it possible for him to remain undetected for so long?

b) Given reports that he lived there with family members and without the presence of any armed guards, why was he not captured and afforded an opportunity to defend himself in an open court of law?

c) Why has the Pakistani regime opted to remain silent on this operation?

d) What do Pakistani authorities know about the operation that may contradict the official Obama version?

e) If, as President Obama claims, that they were aware of bin Laden’s whereabouts since September, why were there so many drone attacks massacring innocent Pakistanis?

The fundamental grievances raised by Osama bin Laden, that of the unfettered Western support of Israel’s horrendous crimes against humanity; its support for despotic and tyrannical regimes; the invasion and occupation of Muslim lands; and the rapacious plunder of its resources; still remain.

In addition we are dismayed with scenes of celebration in America and the insensitive pronouncements of joy made by Israeli leaders and others in Europe.

The Media Review Network remains adamant that the killing of individuals accused of the 9/11 attack, in the absence of due process is an outrageous violation of human rights and denial of access to justice.
