N korea to halt denuclearisation

North Korea says it has halted work to disable its nuclear plants in protest at Washington’s failure to remove it from a terrorism blacklist.

Work was suspended on August 14, according to a foreign ministry spokesman quoted by the official Korean Central News Agency.
