Black journalists are hiding behind apartheid smokescreen
It was interesting reading the comments made by Jacob Zuma and Abbey Makoe regarding the exclusive gathering of black journalists. Zuma – with Makoe nodding in agreement – excused the banning of white journalists by saying that we all come from different backgrounds! Yes gentlemen, that was exactly the excuse the National Party used for apartheid. But being the hypocrites that you are, I supposed you didn’t agree with apartheid?… Nicholas van Graan (Pg.14)
