السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
All praise is due to Almighty Allah (SWT) for having blessed us with a peaceful, spiritual and glorious month of Ramadaan. We are approaching the end of this magnificent period and we are looking forward to spending the day of Eid-ul-Fitr with family and friends.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Muslims in many parts of the world. We remember the persecuted Muslims in China, Burma, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Central African Republic and, of course, Palestine.
What is happening in the Gaza, during the month of Ramadaan, is nothing short of a humanitarian crisis of unimaginable proportion. In the face of this war machinery the human spirit pounding in the heart of each Gazan has been neither diminished nor destroyed. It is their unshakable imaan and trust in Allah (SWT) that has sustained this spirit for decades.
In our jubilation in celebrating this joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr let us spare a thought for the Muslims all over the world, and especially our Palestinian brothers and sisters. We offer a universal prayer and beseech the All-Powerful and All-Merciful Master of the Universe to heed the cries of the Gazans and all the oppressed peoples of the world. May Allah (SWT) deliver them from this man-made monstrosity called Zionism.
We also ask Allah Rab-ul-Izzat to unite the Ummah and to protect us from self-destruction as a result of divisions brought about by man-made categories.
We wish all Muslims Eid Mubarak
