200 000 - Media Review Network

The 200 000- people’s march has come and gone. The masses have had their say and have dispersed.

What is not being realised and acknowledged by the masses is the effort and time that the National Coalition 4 Palestine (NC4P) put into the organisation, co-ordination, communication, harmonisation and management of the 200 000-people’s march. What we witnessed in Cape Town, during the march on Saturday 9th August 2014 in terms of numbers, is unprecedented in our country’s young democratic history.

The Media Review Network (MRN), as a collective response, expresses our sincere gratitude for the manner in which the NC4P rallied the forces and staged a most successful manifestation of the will of the people. Congratulations on a job well done.

The MRN calls on our Government to very seriously take heed of the call of the people, which is to ask the Zionist Ambassador to return to the Zionist state, lift the siege on Gaza, secure the release of all political prisoners and to respect the right of return of the Palestinian refugees in the diaspora.
