Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng Defends Apartheid Israel.

The term ‘bias’ does not do justice to Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng’s latest foray into Middle Eastern Politics or more precisely put, into the politics of Zionism.  The relationship is, indeed, far more profound than mere partiality. It is not ignorance, either. It is a calculated and long-term campaign, aimed at guarding Israel and demonizing Palestinians.

John Dugard, Special United Nations Rapporteur and  an Internationally recognised lawyer on Human Rights once said:

“I visited the Palestinian territory. I also conducted a fact-finding mission after the Operation Cast Lead in Gaza in 2008/ 2009. I am familiar with the apartheid situation. I was a human rights lawyer in apartheid South Africa”.

A 2012 Report on Racism in Israel highlights the extent of racist incidents in occupied Palestine against Palestinian Arabs, Ethiopians, Mizrahi Jews (Jews of Eastern origin), refugees and migrant workers. Racist actions by state institutions, over 35 Knesset discriminatory legislation and discriminatory budgetary allocations against minorities are recorded in this report. Racist physical attacks, threats and assaults by East European Settlers are a regular occurrence on the streets of Israeli cities.

The recent riots and demonstrations  in various cities in the US, as a result of the killing of George Floyd and giving rise to the “Black lives Matter” movement, is reminiscent of the 2012 Race Riots in Israel. In January 2011, daughters of a Nigerian Migrant worker were attacked with a knife, causing serious body wounds. The homes and apartments of African migrant workers were fire-bombed and shops serving migrants were violently attacked and looted.

“African infiltrators” as referred to by Zionist officials are only allowed to live in certain designated areas. They are also referred to as “malignant cancerous tumours” in the body of Zionist Society.

Israeli Prime Minister said that “these African Infiltrators must be sent away as quickly as possible……………. We will start with the infiltrators from South Sudan”.

All aspects of the lives of Palestinians are affected. Socioeconomic discrimination includes land policies, urban planning, housing, infrastructure, economic development, employment, education, healthcare, and personal safety.

Zionist policies remain separate and unequal. Fundamental rights are violated. Redress is impossible. Living free on their own land is denied. Emigration is encouraged.

The Media Review Network is deeply disenchanted and disappointed with our Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, who in his recent conversation with Chief Rabbi Warren Goldstein on a Jerusalem Post Webinar, defended the Zionist, Apartheid State of Israel.

Our country is a Constitutional Democracy and not a Theocratic state. To quote from the Bible to justify Zionism’s occupation and invasion of Palestine, defies logic.
