Istanbul, Türkiye, Thursday, 25th April 2024: Tomorrow is the official date for the Freedom Flotilla for Gaza to sail. We look forward with great enthusiasm to deliver much needed humanitarian aid to the starving masses of Palestinians in Gaza.

Tomorrow is also the start of the conference of the League of International Parliamentarians for Al Quds which will be addressed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. We call on the President to support the Flotilla and ensure that it sets sail on its humanitarian mission tomorrow.

The Freedom Flotilla is supported by leaders and activists from all over the world and has received widespread support in the face of Apartheid Israel’s recalcitrant position and refusal to enable the free float of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Despite the hardships of the past 202 days the people of Gaza and all of Occupied Palestine remain resolute and firm in their determination to return to their homes and continue the struggle against illegal occupation.

We call on the international community and all freedom loving people of the world to follow the Freedom Flotilla in its mission to bring much needed humanitarian aid to Gaza and to break the 17 year long blockade and siege so that vital medical supplies and equipment can reach the people of Gaza.

We salute the people of Gaza and all of Occupied Palestine for their courage, bravery and heroism in the face of immense provocation and injustice. The Freedom Flotilla for Gaza aims to draw the attention of the international public to the atrocities, genocide and war crimes being committed against the people of Gaza.

We call on the President, the Turkish government, Parliamentarians for Al Quds, and Port Authorities to #LetThemSail
