Press Invitation

Special call to all journalist and media houses:

Join our Picket at the US Embassy on Wednesday 20 November 2024, as we Raise

Awareness regarding the Rights of Disabled People and make a call for an immediate

Ceasefire in Gaza to End the Deliberate Maiming and Killing of Palestinian Civilians.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

On behalf of the Board of Management, staff, and beneficiaries of JOCOD, we would like to

formally invite you to cover and participate in an important protest at the US Embassy on 20th

November 2024. This event will raise awareness about the devastating effects of the ongoing war

in Palestine, especially on persons living with disabilities, and we believe your involvement would

significantly amplify our efforts.

The protest aims to highlight how global conflicts, particularly the war in Palestine, contribute to

the increasing number of people living with disabilities. It is a powerful opportunity to stand in

solidarity with those who are most affected by these crises, calling for justice, equality, and the

protection of human rights.

This protest also aligns with Disability Rights Awareness Month, making it an especially timely

occasion to bring attention to the rights and needs of persons living with disabilities, one of the

most vulnerable groups in society.

Event Details:

Date: 20 November 2024

Time: 12H00 to 14H00
