In the killing fields of Gaza

they manufactured a genocide

Killing UNRWA

And all those who it served

 

in the killing fields of Gaza

Orwellian tongues wag with bravado

as tattooed operatives in GHF T-shirts

celebrate their name – GHF

“The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation are doing their job”, says  Netanyahu -Trump

But for whom?

 

Under their armed regime

food is scarce

and the truth even more so

from above the weapons of impunity reigns supreme

/Morality and justice /the mirror of hunger and thirst/

In the killing fields of Gaza

 

the higher the death toll

the lower the morality poll

the world’s leaders keep looking away

some pay with lip service

as the makeshift graves flourish

others rejoice

but all remain complicit

In the killing fields of Gaza

 

things are so bad,

that even a few Zion’s soldiers

have developed a conscience

they cannot sleep, so they confess

We, together with the conniving chefs

are cooking up a genocide

 

The Aljazeera newsreader choked as she read the news:

“An unknown soldier

called the GHF’s distribution sites as killing fields”

“Where I was, between one and five people

Were killed every day” he said

 

The teenager Yazan Imad Al-fajam dutifully went to collect food for his family

They came to collect his body

For them, just one more…in the diary of ethnic cleansing

/thirsty/hungry/ history/

This is not only his-story, it is also her-story – a peoples narrative

against collective punishment and the will to be free

 

The Gaza media officials reported

that over the last four weeks

549 Palestinians killed and 4,066 injured

while waiting for bread flour

 

Last week, they said

Operation Salted Fish was on the menu:

‘We shoot,

they run,

we shoot again.

This is our communication.”

(learning from the Nazi Hunger Plan)

Counted calories

Of a wasted, malnourished and occupied people

thinning of Gaza

…Slowly

 

That was then…

Now it is open season

As  hungry bones walking on human stilts

Line up to their choices

 

To die of hunger in the food line

Or from deadly  fire

from drones, gun boats or F-16s?

 

Are these the only lessons

they learnt from history?
