PRESS RELEASE

The Media Review Network is in possession of an e-mail written in English and Afrikaans and emanating from a senior employee of Mercedes Benz – SA. The e-Mail is accompanied by a series of horrendous photographs of the arm of a child being run over by a motor vehicle. The photographs are accompanied by Hebrew text.

We have asked them to conduct an internal inquiry as soon as possible and that appropriate disciplinary measures be taken against the guilty party. Simultaneously we have requested that a fitting and proper apology be extended to the Muslim community of South Africa
