Passing of Community Leader, Riaz Jamal

Media Review Network is deeply saddened at the passing of community leader, Riaz Jamal. Brother Riaz was one of the founder members of the Muslim Youth Movement of South Africa, director of the Al-Ansaar Foundation and principal of South Coast Madressa Primary School in Durban. He was instrumental in developing Islamic media in KwaZulu-Natal, and passionately served in various organisations dedicated to social upliftment, education, and justice. The impact of his contributions will be felt for generations to come.

May the Almighty reward Brother Riaz Jamal abundantly for his efforts. We wish his family and friends much patience and strength during this difficult time.
