November 2nd 2017 marks the 100th Anniversary of the notorious Balfour Declaration, which promised the world Zionists a piece of real estate belonging to another people on which to establish their country.  At the time that piece of real estate was under the jurisdiction of the Turkey and not Britain.

It is argued by Zionist sympathises that European Jews deserved their own national homeland after wide scale persecution of the Jews in Europe. The suffering of the Jewish people in Europe cannot   justify the occupation of Palestine.

The Balfour Declaration referred to the civil and religious rights of the non-Jewish population, who made up 90% of the inhabitants, to be protected. No mention of the political rights of the people. James Balfour was more concerned about the Jews in Europe than the people of Palestine.

To the eternal credit of the Palestinian people, they never had any objections to admitting people with genuine needs for their well- being. Christians, Jews and Muslims lived in harmony with each other for centuries.

World Zionists invaded Palestine with one aim:  “Elimination”. Eliminate the Palestinians because this “piece of real estate” cannot accommodate the locals and the invading Zionists.  This led to ethnic cleansing and genocide.

Zionism is fundamentally colonialism and the Zionist state was established in the Middle East to enhance and perpetuate British colonialism in the region. This is borne out by the reality on the ground today. Zionist military rule prevails over the entire historic Palestine.

The Media Review Network calls on the South African Government to mobilise the International community and the United Nations in particular, to pressurise the illegal Zionist entity called Israel, to abandon its racist ideology and to establish a unitary state in which all Palestinians will enjoy full civil, religious and political rights.
