The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) Gauteng Province Gender Structure will be commemorating International Women’s Day on 8 March 2014 under the theme: “Building Solidarity with Women of Africa and the World.”
In line with COSATU’s resolution to show solidarity with the people of Palestine, the event is being integrated in support of the gravely and brutally oppressed women of Palestine and their masses in the their struggle for political emancipation.
Suraya Dadoo, co-author of Why Israel? The Anatomy of Zionist Apartheid: A South African Perspective (Porcupine Press, 2013) will be the keynote speaker, addressing the issue of THE STRUGGLE OF WOMEN IN PALESTINE
