The Media Review Network (MRN) is not surprised at all that Donald Trump has decided to renege on the nuclear deal with Iran, referred to as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
The far right Christian Zionists, together with the powerful Zionist lobby in the US, is seriously concerned with the survival of the Zionist Settler entity in the Middle East rather than world peace and the upholding of international law. He has shown little regard for supporting the JCPOA shown by the major European countries, including France, the UK and Germany. These countries have far reaching economic ties with Iran. Italy and Greece purchase large quantities of Oil from Iran.
Numerous wars and economic hardships is flooding Europe with refugees as a result of the wreck less invasions of foreign lands by the US. There is unprecedented tension between Europe and the US as well as general disgust in Europe for Donald Trump as President of the US.
Netanyahu, the US Congress and the vastly anti-Shia Arab family fiefdoms, notably Saudi Arabia’s Muhammed bin Salman are the die-hard supporters of Trump, for reasons that are very obvious. By the way, Netanyahu has Trump wrapped around his little finger while Trump caters to Netanyahu’s lies and bellicose anti- Iran agenda.
Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the JCPOA, despite contra-indications confirmed by Trump’s own security and intelligence agencies that Iran has not been in breach of any agreement/s of the JCPOA, could very well destroy the Atlantic Alliance.
May be it is time for the unilateralism of the post-Cold War era to give way to a multidimensional world in which malicious and venomous figures like Trump, Netanyahu and John Bolton can no longer call the shots.
The MRN calls on the free-world to support the ideals of democracy by upholding the principles of free-trade, human rights, freedom of association and freedom of choice.
